Sensory creative art workshops that engage heritage spaces delivered at Plas Newydd and Galeri for people with moderate mental health problems to improve mental health and wellbeing. By combining creativity and nature, the project aims to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and improve wellbeing through inclusive, non-clinical experiences that foster connection and a sense of belonging.

Creatively Minded and Resourceful

How can creative mental health organisations maximise their use of existing resources and generate new ones to support their work?

This report is a practical and pragmatic resource for use by arts and cultural organisations working with and alongside people with mental health problems. It aims to show approaches and inspire action by sharing a sample of what’s been shown to be possible by organisations thinking about how to maximise their use of available resources (whether that’s people, relationships, physical assets or income revenue streams), or how to generate new ones or pass resources onto others.
