To mark National Social Prescribing Day, join us for our March WAHWN Network Meeting where we will be joined by Sandy Clubb, Policy Lead: Involvement, Collaboration and Culture, at the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales.

With the recent announcement from Welsh Government that Denbighshire, Merthyr Tydfil and Neath Port Talbot will join Torfaen as the new Health Equity ‘Marmot Places’ we will explore what this means in practice and opportunities for our sector to help address the Marmot principles focusing on fairness, prevention, and long‑term wellbeing.

Sandy will also share an overview of the “Culture for Future Generations – A Culture Act for Wales: Green Paper” - a consultation document commissioned by the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales to explore whether Wales should introduce a Culture Bill that would put culture on a statutory footing and strengthen how public bodies support cultural wellbeing, and which is out for consultation until 6 April 2026, ahead of the Senedd elections.
