Thursday 23rd April

10am – 11.30am

Join us for our April Network Meeting, where we’ll hear from artists supported through our 2025–26 Go & See Micro Bursaries.

This is a chance to hear reflections from artists working across the sector, as they share insights into their arts practice and learnings from their Go & See trips.

Speakers:

Jess Tanner

I work across movement, performance, and artistic practice to explore relationships between body and landscape. My current practice-research explores queer ecology as a framework to understand and inform more inclusive approaches within nature and health-based interventions, with particular focus on queer and rural communities.

Katie Keeble

I am a dancer, artist and recent graduate in Art Therapy from USW Newport. I work predominantly in the community arts and health settings, with both movement and art practices for wellbeing. I coordinate and facilitate a community allotment space called Plot 4, with The Place Newport, at Coldra Road Allotments.

Lisa Phillips

Originally trained in sculpture, my practice has evolved into a more interdisciplinary and collaborative approach, working with a range of communities and organisations. I’ll share insights from the Arts in Health short course, supported by the WAHWN microgrants, exploring connections between creativity, wellbeing, and healthcare.
