Speakers

Coming Home: Life Story Comics with Veterans

Karin Diamond, Artistic Director of Re-Live, will be joined by veteran and comic storyteller Graham ’Stan’ Mathews to share learning from Coming Home, a life story comics project co-created with veterans across Wales. Drawing on their experiences of creating the comic together, they will explore how the project became a door to creative engagement, connection and wellbeing for older men.

Neil and Guy O'Donnell, Good Vibrations Chorus

The RWCMD Good Vibrations Chorus, supported by Parkinsons UK, and funded by ACW, is open to all, with a specific focus for people with Parkinson’s and their family/carers to come along to sing for fun! Each week, participants join a choir leader & RWCMD students for vocal exercises, physio-designed warm ups and familiar and new songs to strengthen their voices and counteract the softening of speech and the loss of muscle tone common in Parkinson’s.

Chaired by David Chamberlain, Caerphilly Arts Development

Hosted by WAHWN and Age Cymru
