Exploring creative ways of gathering Most Significant Change (MSC) stories
2 October 10am-1pm (online) Free
What’s it about?
This event is aimed at bringing people together who have a shared interest in the use of Most Significant Change (MSC) in learning-focused evaluation. It will focus on the story gathering aspect of the MSC cycle.
MSC stories are largely gathered in written format. However, there are other ways to gather and present stories that draw on the creative arts. Not only can these methods add to the power and impact of the stories being shared; they can also make the story gathering more accessible to people who might struggle to share in more conventional written formats.
This event will showcase examples of creative practices in MSC story gathering and provide space to reflect and learn together.
Who can attend?
This event is open to everyone.
What’s in the programme?
Speakers and presentations will include:
- Lorna Easterbrook and Imogen Blood ‘Using photos, Crankie theatre and other creative ways to gather MSC stories’
- Teti Dragas ‘Crafting MSC stories as digital stories’
- Mark Robinson and Angela Rogers ‘Exploring the potential of poetry and other creative ways in MSC story gathering’.
- Luigina Jessica Montano ‘Gathering MSC stories from children through drawings’.
