Vacancy: Head of Arts, Health & Wellbeing, Arts Council of Wales

Permanent Contract
Grade E: Starting salary of £56,286
Location: This role can be based at any one of the Arts Council of Wales offices in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen. We are currently working in a hybrid way.
Our benefits include 30 days annual leave, 2.5 privilege days, flexible working hours/pattern, cycle to work scheme and a final salary pension (6%).
About this role
This is a senior strategic leadership role placing creativity at the heart of health, wellbeing, and social care across Wales. As Head of Arts, Health and Wellbeing, you will lead the development of impactful, evidence-based initiatives that integrate the arts into healthcare and community settings. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Equalities and Partnerships, you’ll guide national policy, manage specialist teams, and collaborate across sectors to embed arts as essential infrastructure for wellbeing. Your work will also champion cross-cutting priorities including the Welsh language, climate action, and diversity and inclusion.
