Programme Manager for Lullaby Project

Summary:

The Lullaby Project is an initiative of Carnegie Hall, New York being delivered by Live Music Now in Wales. Over the course of 6-8 sessions families are invited to create and sing personal lullabies for their babies with the help of our professional musicians. Songs are recorded and celebrated with a performance at the end of the project. The project seeks to promote maternal health, child development and parent-child attachment. Live Music Now is delivering several Lullaby Projects within Swansea Bay Health Board settings supported by Operasonic and funded by Arts Council Wales between January – April/May 2022. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Freelance Project Manager to support the Live Music Now Wales Director and Freelance Evaluators in delivering this exciting project.

The role will involve scheduling sessions, maintaining relationships across all partners, event management, budget management and providing evaluation support.

Responsibilities:

. To lead on partnership liaison and all aspects of project organisation

. To coordinate session dates and venues between all partners and musicians

. To support the health board in the recruitment of participants as required

. To manage the project budget and contracts

. To provide on the ground support and data collection to the evaluation team as required

. To liaise between the project mentors and musicians providing support where needed

. To provide administrative support for any required project materials

. To coordinate the professional recording of songs created through the project

. To support project marketing and communications and PR, working with the LMN Comms Team

. To ensure safe working practices are followed as per our H&S policies, risk assessments and Covid safety guidelines

. To be responsible to the LMN Wales Director and report on progress on a regular basis

 

Person Specification:

. Previous participatory arts project management experience min 1 year

. Arts and health project experience beneficial but not essential

. Experience of managing budgets

. Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

. Good problem-solving skills

. IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

. Commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities

. Driver with own car

. Welsh speaker beneficial but not essential

 

Summary of Terms:

Fee - £2560 (Based on 16 days over 4 months Jan-April/May 2022)

Contract – Freelance

Place of work – Home working with some on site project delivery in Swansea/Cardiff areas
