Celf o Gwmpas are looking for a poet or wordsmith who will inspire the people of Llandrindod Wells to describe their town.

Content:

Celf o Gwmpas is a well-established visual arts organisation based in Llandrindod Wells. We work with the local community and especially people traditionally excluded, such as people with learning disabilities and older people needing support. We have funding to run a project which will involve participants working with a visual artist and a poet over a series of three consecutive days. They will spend time walking around the town looking up, above the eye-line, to notice Llandrindod's Victorian and Edwardian architecture. This will create the basis for art works to be developed. We are looking for a poet who has experience of working within communities and creating work through collaborations. They need to be comfortable initiating conversations in the community, with the groups and the general public out and about in the town.
