Patient Representative Role Description

For Bronglais Public Art Task and Finish Group. 


As part of our plans for the development of a new fit for purpose Chemotherapy Day Unit at Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth, we are working with Hywel Dda’s Arts & Health Team to integrate public art into the new unit. PatientRepresentativeRoleDescription 

Content:

The Public Art Task and Finish Group will take strategic responsibility for the development and delivery of Public Art Plan for the Unit. Hywel Dda are looking for patient representatives to join the group and use your experience of the existing unit to help to create a new unit that is special and unique for all of our patients, staff and families.


This is a voluntary role and there will be no remuneration for your time to contribute.


What is the role of a Patient Representative?


• As a patient representative you will work in partnership with the Public Art Task and Finish Group, and others within the Healthcare system to help improve patient experience within the Bronglais Chemotherapy Day Unit to help achieve the shared vision for the role of art within the new unit.
• You will provide your voice to help us listen to patients, families and carers who use and care about the service.
• You will advise on the look and feel of the new Bronglais Chemotherapy Day Unit .
• You will help deliver the Public Art Plan for the new Bronglais Chemotherapy Day Unit .
