Freelance Artist Call Out for Sharing Hope Project

Summary:

Swansea Bay University Health Board call out for a freelance artist for Sharing Hope - using arts and creativity to engage with staff groups across Swansea Bay Health Board. To facilitate safe conversations and sharing of experiences, which is vital in supporting staff as part of their emotional and mental wellbeing.

“Sharing Hope” is using arts and creativity to engage with staff groups across Swansea Bay Health Board. To facilitate safe conversations and sharing of experiences, which is vital in supporting staff as part of their emotional and mental wellbeing. Different art forms can create an arena for healing from the impact of the pandemic and be essential in staff recovery.

This is a long-term project and we are looking for candidates to engage for 6 months, 2 full days per week. SBUHB will provide clinical supervision and safeguarding measures.

Applicants must have demonstrable experience working within arts and health settings, and with vulnerable people. Experience with self-harm or suicide prevention work is desirable. DBS check and public liability insurance required.
