Join four free webinars designed to help integrate meaningful, person-centred music into care for people living with dementia. Each webinar will cover why music is essential in dementia care, introducing the new Take Note resource, and provide practical sessions on leading singing and using percussion.

The webinars are ideal for professionals in care homes, healthcare and homecare settings, as well as family members and unpaid carers.

Sign up for all four webinars and enjoy free access to a series of live online concerts designed for people living with dementia and their carers, starting Summer 2025, featuring talented musicians from Live Music Now. PLEASE NOTE: You need to sign up to each webinar individually.

Monday 7th April, 2-3pm – Music and Dementia Care

A session on why using music is a key element in dementia care. An overview of some of the evidence on why it works. Examples from care settings of the use of music in the dementia living and caring experience

Introduction to the Take Note Resources, produced by Sounds of Intent. Overview of what the resources contain and how to use them. Example practical session as a way into using the resources
