We are hiring: Dance to Health Wales Programme Development
Location: Home working and regular location visits in Swansea | Start Date: 15th January 2025 - 30 April 2025
Summary:
Here at Aesop, we are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join our team and support the development of our work in Wales.
Content:
The role will help Aesop to develop Dance to Health programmes, building and maintaining our local networks and partnerships in Swansea/Neath/Port Talbot area, understanding the impact and outcomes of the programme to act as an advocate and ambassador, supporting evaluation and identifying opportunities to link Dance to Health with health and social care providers, cultural, creative health and community organisations.
You will work closely with Aesop’s Wales Programme Manager and locally based Programme Assistant who are responsible for managing day to day delivery of the programmes and act as a liaison with the central Aesop programme management team and local partners and networks.
SCOPE
1. Supporting development and scaling of Dance to Health in Wales
2. Supporting programme evaluation for an Arts Council Wales funded programme
3. Working with regional partners and groups
- Mapping of local creative health provision
- Relationship development with commissioners and cultural/creative health partners.
- Developing local events and networks in collaboration with Aesop programme managers including a one day event in February 2025
- Collecting and recording stories and feedback from participants, carers, volunteers etc
- Supporting programme and project evaluation DESIRED OUTCOMES
1. Increased awareness of Dance to Health in Wales
2. Building local networks and partnerships
3. Supporting Aesop to assess the feasibility of making a major funding application with local partners to support growth and sustainability of arts based interventions supporting quality of life for older people
