With increasing recognition that more needs to be done to support culture in Wales – in line with recent findings in the Future Generations Report 2025 and calls for a Culture Bill – the Future Generations Commissioner has asked us The Audience Agency to research options for protecting, promoting and enhancing culture for future generations. This work aims to explore the role of public bodies in delivering positive change, identify the risks of non-action, and reimagine the principles and mechanisms of future individual and collective cultural rights and public policy in Wales.
They want to hear from a variety of people with a stake in that future – whether you consider yourself as someone who engages with 'culture', or not. Whether you work professionally with creativity or culture, or not. Whether you have a role in a public body or delivering public services, or not.
All views are welcome and they greatly appreciate you taking the time to contribute. The deadline for contributions is Friday 31 October.
Help spread the word.
