Dear All, Swansea Bay, University Health Board Arts and Heritage Team are running a Commemorative Project to create permanent focal points on our different sites. These are intended for our staff and our community to honour and remember those lost, to recognise those who put patients’ lives first and to capture the social solidarity and support our community gave to us. At this stage we are running our consultation process, and want to run a Creative Arts Workshop with a group of staff members who have been affected by their work treating patients with Covid 19 and staff members who may also have sadly lots loved ones and colleagues during the pandemic. We are looking for an Artist or Art Therapist with relevant experience of working with people who have experienced a distressing event or suffered from Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) This workshop will need to guide staff members to produce outputs with ideas and themes to inform the Commemorative Projects Task and Finish Group and guide the next stages of our project. The workshop will need to be run in November 2020. The successful Artist or Art Therapist will need to structure their workshop around current Health Board Social Distancing Policies in place at the time or running. Closing date for applications is 5pm Monday 26th of October 2020 If you're interested and would like to apply send your cv to Martin.thomas4@wales.nhs.uk Please get in touch if you have any questions; and forward this email onto anyone you think might be interested.
