New Arts and Health MA Programme at Wrecsam Glyndwr North Wales

The course promises to ‘critically examine conjunctions of arts and health through the history, theories and practices that constitute this expanding inter-disciplinary field of practice’ Lecturer, Dr Frances Williams explains, who has designed the three modules in line with current best practice.

Working closely with Betsi Cadwalladr University Health Board, the programme aims to equip students with the up-to-date knowledge of systems, applied skills and the conceptual knowledges that will enable them to navigate this emerging field in Wales and beyond. Guest practitioners, expert in diverse specialisms, will inform the programme, with ample opportunities to examine inter-disciplinary practice across a range of health settings, both clinical and community-based.
