Cardiff & Vale UHB Annual Report 2020 Hot off the Press

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on life in the UK with many sectors of society suffering adverse effects from the spread of the virus and the resulting social distancing regulations.

The pandemic has been an unprecedented challenge to the NHS; one of the most severe it has faced since it was founded in 1948. This is as true for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) as it is for any NHS organisation.  In order to respond to some of the challenges presented by COVID-19, the Health Board has relied upon the resourcefulness of the Arts for Health and Wellbeing team and their insight into how the creative arts can contribute.
