New glossary aims to simplify social prescribing language
A new glossary of terms used in social prescribing has been developed by the University of South Wales and Public Health Wales to help clarify and standardise the language used by professionals.
The glossary, aimed for use alongside the national framework for social prescribing, is a resource for practitioners, commissioners, and those whose professional roles bring them into contact with social prescribing. Its aim is to reduce the confusion that can be caused by professionals using multiple terms to describe the same specific things.
The easy-to-use glossary includes animations, interactive mind-maps and bilingual functionality to make it as accessible and usable as possible.
