Introduction

Reading Friends brings people together to read, share stories, meet new friends and have fun. It uses reading - books, magazines, newspapers or anything else - to start everyone chatting. The aim is to reduce loneliness and social isolation and build social connections in isolated communities. Core partners are Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Univeristy Health Board, Conwy Library Service and the Reading Agency. Additional support from Earth Science Partnership Ltd, Discovery (Swansea University), Swansea Central Library, Community & Voluntary Support Conwy, Llys Elian Care Home and Age Connect Cymru.
