Creating Nostalgic Moments

Introduction

Throughout the ACW Health & Well Being grant period, Y Ty Celf delivered a programme rooted in creativity, connection and community care. Across our strands, working with Links MH Charity, young people, our dementia friendly group, freelance artists and the wider public, YTC witnessed powerful, nostalgic moments that demonstrated how creativity can restore confidence, spark joy and rebuild a sense of connection.

These moments often evoked fond memories, strengthening well being and belonging. Our partnership with Links MH Charity enabled participants to re engage with creative expression in a safe, supportive environment. Many spoke of reconnecting with skills they had not used since childhood, finding comfort in familiar materials and the gentle rhythm of making.
