Introduction
Stepping In was a pilot training and mentoring programme in response to the lack of practitioners with lived experience of mental health; D/deaf, disabled, low socio-economic and global majority backgrounds working in the arts and health sector. Mentees built skills and knowledge through a residential training week, mentoring, live placements in community and health settings along with full wrap around supervision and peer support.
