Introduction

The research provides an independent evaluation of the course’s impact and offers a robust evidence base for its effectiveness as a creative, context-oriented wellbeing intervention for NHS staff. While the metrics and methods are best interpreted by the researchers themselves, what is clear is that the findings strongly support what many of us have witnessed in practice: Coming to Our Senses is both effective and deeply valued by participants—and a genuine pleasure to deliver.

Thank you to everyone who supported Phase 2, and for your continued support as we move into Phase 3. This next phase focuses on training creative and wellbeing practitioners across Wales to deliver Coming to Our Senses (in-house within NHS settings where possible), ensuring both fidelity and scalability.
