Introduction
Twilight Barking was an ambitious, dynamic project for inpatients at Hafan-y-Coed Adult Psychiatric Unit in partnership with Arcade Campfa. The partnership was established in 2019 as part of Gail Howard and Arcade Campfa's Brief History of Healing parts 1&2 projects. Twilight Barking is a collaboration with the mental health unit and activities team who are facilitating and supporting contact with inpatients. The project has been built around a programme of creativity and arts engagement, which explored the human/ animal bond, particularly in relation to therapy dogs in hospitals.
