About HEIW

Health Education Improvement Wales (HEIW) is dedicated to transforming the NHS workforce for a healthier Wales. HEIW has a leading role in the education, training, development, and shaping of the healthcare workforce in Wales, in order to ensure high-quality care for the people of Wales. WAHWN worked in partnership with HEIW to create a film  introducing the benefits of the arts in health, commissioned by Hywel Dda University Health Board Arts and Health team. This forms part of their Creative Prescribing Discovery Programme and is funded by Arts Council Wales.
