Wales Wide Training Programme: Independent Review

Rubicon Dance has recently commissioned an independent review of the Wales Wide Training Programme (WWTP). Funded by the Arts Council of Wales, it's an opportunity to evaluate the current training available to community dance practitioners in Wales as well as recommend how to develop the offer and design a future programme based on sector needs and ideas. Rubicon Dance has recently commissioned an independent review of the Wales Wide Training Programme (WWTP). Funded by the Arts Council of Wales, it's an opportunity to evaluate the current training available to community dance practitioners in Wales as well as recommend how to develop the offer and design a future programme based on sector needs and ideas.
As part of the Review, we we invite feedback via an online survey. We appreciate how busy everyone is and understand that you are often asked to fill in surveys but this is an important one. It focuses specifically on community dance training in Wales and issues affecting the sector and the findings will help us shape what comes next. We really hope that you will take the time to share your views.
Please note:
- The feedback form is bilingual. You can click on the globe / translation icon at the top right of the form to select Cymraeg / English and respond in your preferred language.
- The form covers sections about you and your work; your engagement with the WWTP; your ideas for the future as well as equalities questions.
- If your contact with the WWTP is very occasional, the survey will be quick to complete.
- If you are more actively involved and / you have more to say, it could take between 10-20 mins.
Please be assured that all comments will be treated confidentially and any responses included in the final published report will be anonymous and unattributed.

Wales Wide Training Programme Review 2026
The survey is the main way to feed into the WWTP Review and it aims to gather useful data about the sector as well as training needs. However, there will be further opportunities over the coming months to share ideas about community dance in Wales via focus groups, small group conversations and 1:1 conversations.
