Join the next Culture Forum – 23rd June – YMa, Pontypridd

The day will also include:

Keynote speakers including the new Culture Minister (TBC)
Feedback on our recent Green Paper on a Culture Bill for Wales and how we will co-produce next steps.
A panel with elected leaders from local authorities to discuss how putting culture at the heart of public bodies can make a difference across all strategic areas
Workshops exploring where we can influence the positioning of culture within Welsh Government's Future Trends Report and the ways in which we can ensure that children and young people continue to engage in culture
Short performances and talks from local young people and artists
An opportunity to meet a wide range of local cultural providers in Pontypridd
Creative wellbeing activities led by local artists and arts students

The forum is also open to artists and cultural freelancers and organisation who are delivering across Wales. We have a small number of bursaries for freelancers to attend. If you would like to apply for one of these please contact sandy.clubb@futuregenerations.wales by the 11th June. These will be offered on a first come, first served basis, prioritising those who did not claim a bursary for our February Forum.
