Dance practitioners invited to join Rubicon Dance’s anniversary year programme

Dance practitioners working across a range of styles are invited to join Rubicon Dance’s growing network of facilitators delivering community and participatory programmes.

As Rubicon Dance approaches its 50th anniversary in 2026, the Wales-based community dance charity is widening its network of freelance dance practitioners and creative facilitators. The organisation is seeking to connect with artists from a broad range of dance backgrounds to support participatory activity across education, health and wellbeing, and community programmes for children and adults.

There is an immediate opportunity to support delivery within Rubicon Dance’s education team, alongside longer-term engagement across the anniversary year. Practitioners working in contemporary, commercial, street, traditional and culturally specific forms, creative movement, and inclusive dance practice are encouraged to apply. Rubicon Dance is particularly interested in hearing from artists whose work reflects the diversity of dance cultures and approaches across Wales and beyond, and welcomes experience gained through both formal and informal settings.
