If you work in creative health here in Wales, your research or practice could be part of a UK-wide evidence report this year.
The National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH) is gathering work for the 2026 Creative Health Research Round-Up, and we're pleased to be partnering with them on the second edition alongside creative health networks across the four nations.
The Round-Up brings creative health research and practice from across the UK together in one report. The first edition, which is fast becoming a go-to evidence resource for the sector, drew 109 submissions and has since been used to inform evidence to parliament and the health sector, and to signpost useful resources to health and social care leaders.
This second edition builds on that, and we'd love to see work from our network in the report.
What we’re looking for
Submissions are welcomed from practitioners as well as academics. Practice reports, evaluations and grey literature (such as policy papers, toolkits, mapping outputs and strategies) are all eligible, and are valued alongside peer-reviewed research.
To be eligible, work should put creative health at its centre, offer meaningful analysis or reflection, have an open access component, be UK-based, and be published between 1 January and 31 December 2026.
How to submit
Submit through the online form by 11:59pm on Sunday 13 December 2026:
All eligible submissions appear in the 2026 report, out in mid-January 2027, and selected authors may be invited to present at the launch.
If you have any questions about the submissions process, you can contact Dr Jane Hearst, NCCH Research and Policy Manager, at research@ncch.org.uk
